Finding help can feel more manageable when you know where to turn. Strength Recovery Services provides outpatient mental health, addiction, and co-occurring treatment for adults at our Weymouth, Massachusetts, location. Here, you can receive structured support while continuing to live at home.
As you learn about Strength Recovery Services, you’ll discover the philosophy that guides our everyday practice: understanding what contributes to your struggles, making practical changes that support recovery, and connecting with people who understand the work of rebuilding your life.
If you are considering treatment, contact our team before visiting. We can answer your questions about getting started and help you understand which outpatient program may fit your needs.
When you are already dealing with mental health symptoms or substance use, arranging treatment can feel like another responsibility to manage. Choosing care nearby can make regular attendance more practical and reduce some of the travel involved.
Outpatient treatment also lets you practice new skills in the environment where you need them. You might work on responding differently to stress, communicating with a loved one, or recognizing a trigger, then discuss that experience with your treatment team.
Receiving care close to home can help you:
Treatment still requires time and commitment. Our team can help you consider those needs alongside your responsibilities so you can make an informed decision about care.
Strength Recovery Services offers two primary levels of structured behavioral health care through our outpatient treatment programs: a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program.
Both provide more support than a traditional weekly therapy appointment. The right starting point depends on your symptoms, current stability, treatment history, and the support available outside treatment.
Our partial hospitalization program, or PHP, provides the highest level of outpatient support. It may be appropriate when mental health symptoms, substance use, or co-occurring concerns are significantly affecting daily life and you need substantial treatment structure.
PHP, often called day treatment in Massachusetts, combines therapeutic support with opportunities to build coping skills and healthier routines. You attend treatment at our Weymouth location and return home afterward.
Our intensive outpatient program, or IOP, offers structured care at a lower intensity than PHP. Some people begin treatment in IOP, while others move into it as a step down from a higher level of care.
IOP, frequently known as half-day or evening treatment in Massachusetts, supports continued work on emotional regulation, relationships, coping strategies, and recovery goals. Your team can help determine whether it provides enough support for your current needs.
Substance use can affect your health, relationships, work, and confidence. You may recognize that something needs to change while still feeling unsure about how to begin.
Our addiction treatment helps you examine patterns connected to substance use and develop healthier ways to respond to cravings, stress, and difficult emotions. Treatment also supports relapse prevention and the everyday changes that can help sustain recovery.
We look beyond the substance itself. Understanding the role alcohol or drugs have played in your life can help you identify what needs attention and build other ways to meet those needs.
You do not need to have a perfect explanation for your substance use before asking for help. That understanding can develop through treatment.
Persistent anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, or other mental health concerns can make ordinary responsibilities feel difficult. You may be managing outwardly while feeling overwhelmed inside.
Our mental health treatment provides space to understand your symptoms, explore contributing experiences, and practice skills that support daily functioning. Your needs and goals help shape the treatment plan.
When mental health concerns and substance use occur together, dual diagnosis treatment addresses both. Looking at how they influence each other helps your team approach the full picture of what you are experiencing.
The work you do at our Weymouth location is intended to carry into life beyond treatment. Three principles guide that work.
Trauma, emotional pain, mental health concerns, and learned coping patterns may contribute to current difficulties. Treatment gives you room to explore those connections at a pace that respects your needs.
The goal is to better understand what keeps a pattern going and develop healthier responses. Your story matters, and care should reflect it.
Recovery can involve rebuilding routines and responsibilities alongside the work taking place in therapy. Depending on your goals, practical support may focus on:
These areas can affect how confident and supported you feel outside treatment. Progress may start with one manageable change rather than rebuilding everything at once.
Our team members bring lived experience with recovery and significant personal challenges. That perspective helps shape an environment where you can speak honestly about difficult days, setbacks, and uncertainty.
Alongside clinical expertise, lived experience supports an approach grounded in empathy, accountability, and hope. You deserve to feel heard while receiving help that moves you toward your goals.
You do not have to know whether PHP or IOP is right for you before reaching out. Our team can explain the options, learn about your concerns, and guide you through the admissions process.
We can also help you verify your insurance and understand the benefits that may be available for outpatient behavioral health treatment.
